DECEMBER 17, 2011 (LAGOS, NIGERIA) -- The SIDEVIEW Style Awards created by SideView Magazine aims to recognise the most influential people in fashion, media and entertainment consisting of new and established creatives in the industry, their contributions made to their respective fields locally and on an international level. Also celebrating the evolution of fashion in Africa by recognising those creatives who have re-defined African fashion through design, photography and magazine editorials.

The Bulb Ideas Group produced the event and Go2Gurl were appointed to handle the event for the entire evening, sponsored by Baileys. Our exhibition featured the works and collection of emerging designer Titilola Akinkugbe of Esther’s and textile designer Laide Ademodi of LD Design.

Illrymz hosted the ceremony and the red carpet was hosted by Temi Nsa. 16 award categories including Style Influencer (Charly Boy), Next Young Designer (House of Versatile Style), Best Musician (Tuface), Best International Designer (Adebayo Jones), Break through talent (Ifeanyi Dike Jr), SideView Style Award for the most inspirational woman (Omotola Jalade Ekeinde) and Outstanding Contribution to Fashion (Deola Sagoe).
